Mirror Stage’s new series of arts events invites participants
to take a deeper dive into themes relevant to our upcoming productions.
Contexpo events include visual art, spoken word, special speakers, and workshops.

All Contexpo events are free to the public.

Contexpo: Income Inequality and the Wage Gap kicks off on Friday, September 9 at 6:30pm
with a hands-on visual art event on the 3rd Floor of the Blue Building of The Phinney Center.

An All-access Yoga Class follows on Friday, September 9 at 7:30pm in Room 7 of the Blue Building
You don’t need to be a yoga practitioner to participate in the workshop;
if you don’t have a yoga mat, one will be provided for you.
Limited to 30 participants, maximum, for COVID Safety protocols.


On Saturday, September 10 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm
in the Brick Building of The Phinney Center,
Mirror Stage is hosting Activism Brunch: Income Inequality and the Wage Gap,
which will also be live-streamed on Mirror Stage’s YouTube channel.
Gather in community to discuss the complexities of the issues
and learn ways to get involved and advocate for change.
PLUS! Get a sneak peek of Expand Upon: Income Inequality and the Wage Gap,
featuring two newly-commissioned plays by Mary E. Brown and Nelle Tankus,
coming in October online. A light brunch will be served.

Contexpo: Income Inequality and the Wage Gap is being presented in partnership
with the Phinney Neighborhood Association, located at 6532 Phinney Ave N in Seattle.

All guests must wear masks and show proof of COVID vaccination.
